Tool Making

HK Plastics Engineering began as a tool making company. Tooling remains a key to supporting our injection molding business. Our expertise in tooling technologies and design makes us better molders. Our goal is to build high quality injection molds in the most timely, cost effective manner possible. To ensure successful tooling projects, we provide product design review and review for manufacturability. We hope to be involved early in your project and work concurrently. We design our own tooling and use state of the art technologies including 3D solid modeling for mold design and 3-axis multiple surface Computer Aided Manufacturing. Our experienced tool makers are among the finest in the business. We believe the interface between mold builder and mold designer is critical to a tooling project coming in on-time and on-budget.
