Mechanical Assembly

HK Plastics Engineering has unique capabilities to help customers by providing mechanical sub-assemblies. Our assembly department works in conjunction with molded part production to achieve labor efficiencies. HK has helped many dedicated customers reduce part number count and inventory costs by supplying complete mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.

We are also in the process of registering our assembly capacity with the FDA to provide products to the medical device industry. These components will be manufactured in a clean-room environment under a controlled and validated system.

Inspired by our world class quality planning system, we have developed an assembly documentation system to assure proper techniques and quality control.

To help manage the significant flow of information required to produce mechanical assemblies, we have developed a bill of materials component to the HK Management System.
